Any good gay bars in Durango?
My partner and I (gals) are headed to Durango this weekend for the first time- does anyone know of any good lesbian bars?
Thanks so much!

I could be wrong, but I don't think there are any gay bars in Durango (it's a town of 15k people).

The Lost Dog Tavern - food and drink and very gay friendly
The Wildhorse Saloon - a cowboy bar and dance hall but I've heard its gay friendly and no one will bother you
Durango has a huge gay and lesbian population

Please keep this thread civil.. this thread is NOT a discussion of homosexuality, you can discuss that topic on the Politics and other Controversies forum.
Thank you.

hopefully you are coming to Durango for other reasons. rafting hiking and the train come to mind. most bars in town are very friendly as they need tourist $$. your question puzzles me. do you want to visit Durango or just hookup? bring loys of money

I am sure she is going for other reasons. I can speak from personal experience as I am gay and going out at night is more fun if you know where to go that is safe and you do not have to worry about being harassed.
