Default Teaching Positions in Colorado

I am looking to relocate to Colorado.... I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialization in Readiing...

What areas of the state are hiring the most??????????/

be advised state law requires that all openings must be advertised publicly. even if the insiders already have filled all positions. my daughter went through that for 3 years but still apply you may luck out. best of luck to you

It's going to be tough finding a job here, as Colorado is quickly skyrocketing to 50th in the nation in education funding (Our gov is trying to cut any kind of education statewide as much as possible). My wife is a teacher, and honest to god, her salary has dropped each year in the six years she's been out!

But now is the time to get jobs ... there will be a handful of openings but the competition will be fierce. In Pueblo, where I live, both the major school districts are cutting positions, keeping really only the long-tenured teachers in jobs (though those with little to no experience seem to be getting jobs over teachers with 5-15 years experience, purely because of cost).
