I wish I could have gotten good pictures at night with the streets all lit up. It is just an ADORABLE place, something straight from a story book. Manitou Springs is picturesque too but for some reason we didn't get many pics of it!?

Our stay in Breckenridge was not planned; basically we went "exploring" looking for snow, and ended up there, and then it got dark and snowier and icy and I freaked out because I'm from Texas and do NOT drive in snow, much less at night in snow on winding roads. So we frantically searched for a place to stay for the night and actually got a fair price on a room to boot.

My kids said they liked the place we stayed in Breckenridge WAY more than our regular room near Denver, even though it was about 1/4 the size. It was just so darn cute and rustic with pine log bunk beds and so forth... and absolutely glistening at night in the snow. Ahhhh, I want to get out of here soon!
