Thanks for the information,by the way, I really appreciate all of it! Ive checked all the cities on the Western Slope and GJ seems to be the biggest. Are there any other cities of relative large size (30k or more) that I should check out?

How about Colorado Springs? I know its drastically bigger than GJ.How long of a drive would it be if I wanted to take a jaunt over to UT for the weekend and check out Moab and some of the other national parks over there? How is the economy in COS? I know everywhere jobs are pretty tight, but Im young and dont care about working multiple jobs and living in a small apt or house. Like I said earlier, Im graduating with a degree in Marketing so anything related to marketing/PR/advertising/sales is right up my alley.

If you are willing to hunker down and do the cold calling grunt work, you'll be able to get a job just about anywhere, in any economy. Companies love to hire people who are willing to do that crap, but your paycheck is usually straight commission. If you are good at BS-ing people and making it seem real, and you don't take the rejection personally, you can probably eke out a decent living with just that one job. Good Luck!

Have you considered SLC? Don't get me wrong, I love CO, but if you are looking to ride every weekend, or possibly get out on a day off, 45 min up into one of the canyons is quite a bit easier than the jaunt up to summit from either Denver or GJ IMO. Another feature you might use in SLC is the Public Transportation up to the resorts, if there was a big dump and you don't want to drive, snag a bus.

Im looking up Utah as well. What tends to be utility costs in winter/Summer. Can I expect a pretty big increase in heating costs when the winter months arrive?Who are the big cable/internet providers in the COS area? In Atlanta, we have comcast and I would go with them if they are in the area, but if theres a cheaper alternative (I was paying $122 a month for cable/internet) then I would gladly make a switch.
How bout water/sewage costs? I lived in an apt. so my monthly bill was around 25 dollars with a roommate, give or take a few dollars.
