I am currently a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu assistant instructor in Houston Texas...anyone know if MMA is popular in Colorado at all? The UFC being the most popular example of MMA (The Ultimate Fighting Championship)

I've found Bill Hosken of Colorado Springs Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu..he's a Michado black belt so he is definitely legit.

Actually, it's pretty huge. I guess not too many people on this forum are involved in martial arts. Ring of Fire is a pretty big local event you may have heard of.

Thanks God...lol..that was a deal breaker for me. I thought with the higher elevation, Olympic training and military it would have to be.

I know that there is a MMA and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu training gym in the Loveland area (northern Colorado) ran by Royce Gracie.

They have a good Crav Maga program in Denver, and I think one near Boulder. I went to a class one time there. Not sure if that suits you but there you go.
