We want to move from Seminole,Tx to somewhere in Colorado. Preferrably the southwest. We don't want anything to huge because we want to be able to live near mountains and feel secluded but also be close enough to a town with good jobs. He wants to do something with airplanes if there is anywhere that is good for that. We don't want very harsh winters cause we're use to texas weather but we still want snow. ( i read earlier that the winters there aren't that bad... so not sure) We're both in our young 20s, love the outdoors. I want to be able to fish. We're really looking at Durango or Pagosa Springs but just want to make sure there's nothing better. Thanks for any help.

I can only comment on the aviation job interest. General and Commercial aviation is kinda slow right now, especially at smaller airports. If you have specific skills and certificates there are jobs to be had, but mostly in the Front Range area. I was at a maintenance facility in Denver yesterday that is as busy as ever. I also know of companies that are looking for flight instructors, although with the slow down in airline hiring you have to bring lots of experience to the table. Aircraft manufacturing jobs in the area have really evaporated when Adam Aircraft (Denver) and Eclipse (Albuquerque) went bankrupt.
You should really find the jobs first or have enough savings to tide you over for what might be a lengthy spell, especially now that winter's approaching.
