Anyone know of any properties (houses/condos/etc) that are for rent at an affordable price up in the mountains? I would prefer something close to Winterpark or Copper ski resorts but it doesnt really matter. I have done some searching online but came here to check and see if anyone has found any really good, affordable places.

Thanks!

Since affordable means different things to different people, please include YOUR definition of affordable so we have an idea of what you have in mind.

Affordable as in less than $200/night. The lower the better. Dont need anything fancy, just a place that is accessible in the winter that is within 30 minutes to ski resorts (Copper/Winterpark if possible)

Thanks

I would check Craigslist Colorado. Lots of rentals there.

Are you looking to live there or vacation there?

Prices slide up and down depending on demand. The highest prices are Christmas(Dec 16-1st monday after new years day), Martin Luther King birthday weekend, Presidents Day weekend-3rd week of March.

The cheapest times are early december, 2nd week of January, first week of april to end of ski season.

One thing I'd do is check with local property management agencies as they usually have condos listed for rent.

At Copper most of their rentals seem to fall under their main administration agency which books everything for the entire resort.

Also you can usually get a cheaper per night rate booking for a week or a month.
