Default Colorado Fall 09 Photos (in the Mountains)

Some Fall Colors of Colorado for everyone to enjoy.

This year my route was Den > CO Springs>Cripple Creek>Pike National Forest > Jefferson > back via 285. I did the Kenosha Pass last year so did not do it in this photo tour (and it was too dark by the time I passed it). I still may do Kenosha Pass this year; will see.

Thanks for sharing, those aspens changing were beautiful.

Funny, the pic with the cow just wandering at the side of the road.

Nice pics.

Was not a great year for colors. I think the previous weekend was the best. Most of the aspens shed their leaves this past week, especially at the higher elevations from Gillette Flats to Cripple Creek.

Quite a few bare trees along the highway to Cripple Creek on 04 Oct; went there to audition for Wheel of Fortune, had no idea it would be so much fun, was exhausted after all the cheering and audience silliness, didn't get on the show. Pooh.
