Default Colorado Move

Hello! I currently reside near the East Coast and am looking for a small, quaint, friendly town to move to in the west. I was in Colorado very briefly a few years ago with my father in his 18-wheeler and fell in love with the state. I am looking for a town that isn't too expensive, a nice place to make some nice, lasting frienships (I have those here too), a nice place for my son to grow up, and where there is a nice non-denominational church to attend. Any suggestions?
