hello....i have recently been offered a job transfer from southern california to longmont.....i'm an air traffic controller.....my wife is a teacher here in los angeles.....and we have a 3 yr old son.....i will be working in longmont.....but i'm not sure where i should choose to live....we are looking to live in a good school district and possibly a growing district for my wife to find a job....after living in the fast lane for the past 8 yrs, we are not looking to live in the city......we are looking to eventually get a nice lot of land and horses etc.....i want a place where my kid and my dogs can run and play, but not be so far out mix that i have to drive an hr for my kid to play ayso.....any and all responses will be greatly appreciated.....thanks for your time.....

Longmont is quite rural compared to LA but it depends on where in LA you're coming from. Do you work in the LA center or LA proper, i.e., en route or tower?
