Hi, my family and I are planning to move from Houston area to CO in June. We have 3 kids. Pre-k, 2nd and 5th next school year. We are looking for a great Christian private school. We think our son will benefit from a smaller class environment and want to give our kids a spiritual based education. I have been to a dozen sites and found plenty of schools but really need parent reviews or opinions. I'm hoping to pick a school before a home but we will see. We are considering a large area so its hard to know where to start without scoping out the area closer. We have made several trips to visit . We seemed to enjoy and I am curious about the areas of Fort Collins, Livingston, Castlerock thru Colorado Springs and all the way down to Manitou Springs. Which cities might be the best and which Christian schools in that area would be recommended. I am open to all suggestions. Thanks.

Colorado Springs Christian School- good reviews and accepted well in the community.

You will want to live on the north, northwest, Monument part of town. The Cragmoor neighborhood right by it is also great but also right by UCCS so you may deal with UCCS students wanting to park in front of your home. BUT, I believe they have put up numerous "DO NOT PARK" signs throughout the neighborhood. And, if CSCS doesn't work out, Bates Elementary in that neighborhood is a gem! I love Judy McCollum (principal) and she has a knack of hiring the most personable and dedicated teachers/staff!
