I was looking at spokane and tri-cities, but they feel like they both might be quite small and descolate, am I far off? Colorado seems to offer much more. Does anyone have photos of colorado that will give me an idea of area in all seasons? I like Pictures
Spokane is close in size to Bakersfield, IMO hardly desolate, and not small. It is a city, just not a mega-huge one.

The Tri-Cities are about the size of Santa Clarita, but probably a bit more spread out. Not desolate/small either.

I believe there are Denver/CO photo tours here in the forum.

By the way, I've only been studying Colorado weather and climate for nearly a half-century now.
We also have an occasional fender bender here, too. I would look for a home where there are no roads.....or bears.....or falling trees.....or squirrels with rabies.....or crazy women with babies.....or......oh NO, NO..........
