Hiya all... I am moving to from Pennsylvania to Grand Junction in the near future. Hopefully within the next 6 months. Have family living in Loma, working in Junction. For practical purposes, i would like to find out what some of my average living expenses might be. Does anyone know a good place for me to start? Thanks so!!! Marilyn

If you have a job in PA, you are probably better off hanging on to it and riding out this economic sh*tstorm. Grand Junction has one of the worst unemployment problems in Colorado. Finding a job in GJ at this time could prove to be a significant challange. My wife and I are very fortunate. We both have good jobs, yet it is very unnerving watching the deteriorating conditions all around us. Best wishes whatever you decide to do.

Interesting. Some people I know who were working out of Grand Junction in the energy industry are now working in West Virginia and Pennsylvania because they could get work there--after months of nothing in Grand Junction.
