I have been looking in mt, wy, co, for employment. My wife and I would both like to move west. Resently I was contacted by an employer in Wheat ridge co. I may have an interview soon. Can anyone tell me what neighorhoods to look in I am willing to drive 45 minutes one way. I have 2 small children. I would be more comfortable near an AGWAY than the mall. LOL

Thank you,

wannabe

Wheat Ridge is a suburb of Denver, one of many. You could live in Arvada, Thornton, Westminster, Broomfield, Lakewood, Boulder, Superior, Louisville, or Denver and still be within 45 minute drive. Actually there are more areas within 45 minutes. There are lots and lots of great family areas. I would start by looking at the rankings for the school districts. Check out the scores for the standardized testing - CSAP (I don't know what the letters stand for).

Please explain what AGWAY is.

As I have said before I think that the Denver Metro Area is family friendly. A lot of where the c-d's recommend you look is based on your wants and needs; likes and dislikes about housing, prices, community, lifestyle....

There is no one right answer on where you should live. You should explore the area with an open minds, and see what feels right to you and your wife.

Although in Wheat Ridge...Applewood is one on my favorite subdivisions.
