Cool Unicorporated Arapahoe County

I am looking for a townhouse or a place to call home in CC School District, 3 bedrooms for $1100-$1250. I would prefer Cherry Creek High School as my son will be entering high school 2010-2011 school year. I am a disabled single mother of two, so I am on Section 8. If you know any realtors that can help me with my search post the information right here... Thanks in advance..

Unincorporated Arapahoe County Includes:

Littleton
Denver
Centennial
Greenwood Village
Englewood

So I am searching a very large area in south suburb denver.

Littleton, the city, has it's own school district as does the city of Englewood.

Realtors normally do not handle rentals. Only housing that has been approved is section 8 eligible.

Section 8 Rental Subsidy Program has more info.

Someone misinformed you.

Littleton and Englewood were discussed above.

Denver is the City and County of Denver, has no relation to Arapahoe Co.

Centennial and Greenwood Village are cities in Arapahoe County.

Denver schools are DPS. I don't know what SD Centennial and GV are in.

Here's a nice map of the Cherry Creek School district:

http://www.ccsd.k12.co.us/documents/...istrictMap.pdf

This will help you in finding rentals in the area you want to live in. Note that there are certainly areas with Littleton, Englewood, Aurora, or Centennial addresses within the district, not ALL of those areas by any means are within the district (in fact, Englewood and Littleton both have their own districts.) Unincorporated Arapahoe County areas may or may not be in CCSD, so check the map above to be sure.

'Englewood' is such that you can have an Englewood address with a zip 80111 and be districted for CCHS. My kids go to an CCSD elementary school where about half of the kids have Englewood address and half have Greenwood Village. Use Zip instead of city, as the way they incorporate and annex areas around here can lead to very bizarre boundary maps.
