Pueblo has much better winters then the north east. Sure we get snow but it warms back up and it melts. In fact Pueblo has more days of sunshine then Florida and we get the least amount of snow of any major city on the Front Range of Colorado. So I think you will find the winters nice and enjoyable here.

They're nice beware though the city of Pueblo has no clue what a snow plow is and the streets may be snowpacked or icy for a day or two before it melts. Never get more than 3 inches of snow here.
