Homeschooling Artist and Family looking (Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs: theater, living, cost of living)

for the best place to relocate..........

DH blows glass, I love Traditional B&W photography and the kids well DD wants to be Half Holywood Super Star Half Server her words.....We've tried two places of our choosing and they haven't been it. Anyone know of a town in Colorado looking us?

Would love suggestions.

Maybe Manitou Springs or Old Colorado City? Those are our more liberal and "artsy" sections of town. They have a lot of personality! The northern side of Colorado Springs is less artsy, more conservative, and lacks the personality of the west side (although it is very nice). Hollywood Super Star might be a stretch here... but maybe some community theater at the Fine Arts Center would work for her.

I'm interested about these two places as well. Could you elaborate a little on their overall description? How do they rank up in crime, political flavor, cost of living, weather etc??? Thanks so much.
