Anyone ever live in Lamar? If so, what did you think about the town in terms of cost of living, jobs, dating scene, crime, etc?

I have not lived there but I have passed through a few times. It seems to have characteristics more of Kansas than Colorado. When I was there (years ago) it is a very slow paced town, very low cost of living, I can only guess on the rest, but I think it would be a tough place for a single person. Maybe not, hopefully someone can give you better info.
