Default Is Arapahoe Basin likely to be crowded this weekend/next week?

Given the current snow, and the fact A Basin is one of the few ski areas still open, is it likely to be fairly crowded this weekend into next week?

I'm heading up there tomorrow, I'll let you know.

Honestly, it's hard to say. It snowed, so it may dry people out of the woodwork. On the other hand, my last 2 weeks of skiing at other resorts were pretty empty. I can see it going either way.

Look forward to your report. I'll probably wait until Mon or Tues when it's warm and sunny.

FYI, if you haven't checked the CDOT web site, Loveland Pass is currently closed.

Yeah, Loveland Pass was closed this morning. I just took 70 over to Silverthorne. There was a crowd. I'm guessing the foot of snow had alot to do with it. I'm guessing alot of the people that showed up were Summit county locals. There wasn't much traffic on 70, so I don't think too many came from the front range. I didn't hit traffic until I past Keystone. From Keystone to the abasin parking lots was just stop and go.

Once I got to the base, the Pali lift looked packed. I went to the back side and spent most of the day in the Zuma bowl where the lift line wasn't too bad (averaged about 5 minute lift line). Overall, it looked like Pali lift was packed, everything else wasn't too bad. Today was definitely one of the best days of the ski season (for me anyway).
