If we end in heading to Boulder we'll probably have to buy in a smaller town around it.
We really love the mountains and would live in the midst of pine trees of we could.
The museums is just an occasional thing to do but important to have.

Thanks for any responses!! Have a great day.
You wil be hard put to find a house in Boulder in your price range. Maybe, maybe Longmont or Lafayette will have something you like in the higher end. Lafayette does have a children's museum.

Yea, we are thinking of the smaller surrounding areas that we could afford. We are leaning toward Colorado Springs because it is cheaper but I think the Boulder area is prettier.

Springs and Boulder are pretty polar opposite in terms of atmosphere. Split the difference with Denver.

Default wow

The two locations you mentioned are far apart. Parker is in the middle and has some of the best schools in Colorado. I am still stuck in california and my family is in Co. You will love living in Colorado.

Jobs are scarce? I get as many job postings daily from Denver as I do Phoenix, and it's a boatload. Must depend on what industry you're in.

For what it's worth, I believe Ft. Collins is the place to be with a limit of $300k and a young child. Take a trip, spend a few days and walk through town. It's truly a great place with plenty of things to do- both in the mountains, and in town.

There is a great need for psychologists here and office space is cheap.

As for you- I would wager that the number of people involved in sports on a per-capita basis here in Colorado is among the highest in the nation. Just today, we saw people running, hiking, walking, literally hundreds of bike riders, guys climbing in the foothills, parachuting over north Boulder and this morning there were 6 people in hot air balloons. I'm sure there were others, but these are the ones I recall from today. There are many specialty retail stores here that range from kayaking to hardcore skiing or mountain climbing and everything in between. Sounds like a perfect fit!

I personally haven't seen any anti-latino sentiment at all.
Hey,

I currently reside on Long Island, New York. It is expensive, overcrowded and stifling here. I am considering a move to Denver in the next year or so.

My first priority is finding a job. Would anyone know the average salary for a graphic designer/production artist?

Colorado sounds beautiful! Look forward to spending the rest of my life there!!
