I'm happy to report that Ed Quillen, longtime columnist of the Denver Post, has an archive of 20+ years of editorials available on his website ( Ed Quillen's web site ). This isn't a commerical pitch, Ed published his writings on his site with no advertising or anything to gain.

To respect his wishes, I'm not going to quote directly from his site, but anyone who wants to understand where I am coming from when it comes to my view of Colorado needs to read this editorial from 1988. It says it all about the "real" Colorado far better than I can. I still have the yellowed copy of this editorial from the Denver Post in my file.

If you read what he has to say and you actually "get it," then you might understand what this place is really about.

That's a good piece of writing. Any other ones you would recommend?

I had a feeling you'd be a fan of Ed Quillen, jazzlover.

I remember an article he wrote recently about how unreliable wikipedia is. Still, I go to wikipedia all the time. I like it. But I alway's remember Quillen's article about it.
