I have an interview in NE Columbia. I'm looking for restaurant recommendations for the NE or downtown area.

Looking for ethnic restaurants - Caribbean, Latin American, etc, Mediterranean. Something that's a hole-in-the-wall type of place.

Any suggestions?

Middle Eastern - try Elie's Place on St. Andrews Road. Caribbean, there is a Caribbean/Jamaican place on Parklane Rd in NE, but the name escapes me. I've never eaten there, though. Mediterranean Tea Room on Devine is a possibility too.
