Making information private (for sale, how much, home)

Good day to all! I was goofing around googleing myself when I found myself!...and my address, how much my property was worth and even a nifty map for anyone that needed to find the place. This is very upsetting to me. I work in law enforcement and unfortunatley tend to make the wrong people angry when simply doing my job. It's terrifying to know that this site will provide this people with my home address, without them even clicking on the link, which also in turn endangers my family. I have looked at various areas on this site to remove my name from the property listing (which isn't for sale btw) and will be emailing them personally to have this done. This will hopefully be a warning to everyone and if anyone has any knowledge of how this can be avoided in the future, I would appreciate it greatly.

I hate to tell you, but anyone that knows your name can find your address in the tax records. It's all public information.

if you do not want to see your address in public information, all you need to do is to transfer your property under company name or trust. That should help to get rid of lots of the information.
