I almost wish they had painted their sign directly onto the brick instead of placing the sign the way they did.

They should have painted the brick to better match the rest of the Vista.

True. I was probably a bit harsh/overly dramatic in my displeasure of the sign. Having Panera in that spot it 100 times better than having nothing, tacky sign or not.

I'll get upset about ugly signage enough to call, email and lose sleep. This signage calls for none of the above. I like it.

I walked by it again yesterday and on third look it seems ok. I like the rustic look of their little sign.

I drove by yesterday. I think that the sign works. The color of the sign compliments the color of the building. Panera is a nice addition to the Vista, and will do very well in that location. When are they scheduled to open?

You hear this same story from countless retailers. Why does it take so long to find the right spot in Columbia?!
