Primarily Mexican, a little more upscale than Monterrey.

The sale of the "Wilbur Smith Building". Anyone know what the vacancy rate is downtown? This article mentions that this building is like 90% occupied.. Thats pretty good for a tower that has to be over 30 years old....

The Greek Festival is this weekend. The new sanctuary will be open to the public. The iconography from a world renowned iconographer is sure to rival the food as the main attraction.

A florist is coming soon to the ground floor of the Silver's building, next door to the McCrory's building, the building the Charleston development company is going to renovate.

That's the building next to the Columbia Conservatory of Dance. That is a perfect fit. It looks like it should be a wedding planner and photographer business. How cool is that? The florist that's coming to the Silver's building across the street told me on Facebook that they plan to finish renovations in time to move in early 2012.

From you, I'm sure this is backhanded.

However, Transitions really is a good thing, and the article reflects that. You say "homeless shelter" for the sake of the images that conjures. Truth is, it's an attractive space and it serves an important role.

Drive by it. If you didn't know its purpose, you'd never guess it. Furthermore, its purpose is to help people get back on their feet.
