Any suggestions for places in town to purchase (and get installed ) car stereo equipment? Obviously there is Best Buy, but as i'm still learning the area I wasnt sure if there were also "local" places that do good work at good prices to consider. Just nice to have options.

As usual any info is appreciated.

I've never used them first hand but a couple of guys that work with me swear by Norton's:

One of them had a DVD system installed in his mini van and the other guy had his car pretty much converted into a rolling speaker system. Both were very happy with the outcome.

Custom Car Stereo on Two Notch is a great local place, and they did a great job on two of my vehicles. I can't recommend their window tinting, but their audio installation is top-notch.

I also wouldn't let any of the "experts" at Best Buy touch my car with a ten foot pole.
