I have been offered a jog in Rock Hill, which is fairly close to Columbia. I would like any ifo possible on the area. Until now I was mostly considering Greenville or Charleston, but this opportunity came along. I have a 10 yr old child, we all love festivals, art related things, music, parks, etc. I would love to live in an area where we can rent a house in a decent neighborhood with sidewalks and my son can ride his bike, meet other kids his age, etc. He has high functioning aspergers, and needs a school where they have different options to choose from. We would like shopping and conveniences, in an area where the crime is not so bad. I appreciate any and all input regarding schools, good neighborhoods, activities, restaurants, etc. Thanks.

Sorry, I realized after mapping the area that I should have posted this in the York area forum. I don't know how to move the thread, but I reposted it in the appropriate forum...

Rock Hill is basically a suburb of Charlotte, so check out Charlotte as well.
