Not a real job posting. If you click "Apply on Website" you get a link to Columbia, MO - Cheesecake Hourly Job Board | Job Details

They also have "Jobs" posted for Greenwood County, SC.

They have no jobs posted whatsoever in SC on their own website. Not saying they won't build here in the future, but right now it would be either downtown or Harbison. No other area has the demographics or traffic count to justify.

Let's look at reality right now. This development has fast food and a Kroger, not knocking those businesses, but it's kind of a big jump to go from dirt to Hardees, to Kroger, and then -----------> first Cheesecake Factory in the state of SC.

I get what you're saying, but Killian's was always promised to be rather high-end. The Kroger that is coming is the more upscale Kroger Marketplace, the first in the state. I, too, would be surprised to se Cheesecake Factory skip Harbison, but the Northeast has good demographics even if they aren't quite the same as Harbison/Lake Murray.

Also, I think we need to keep in mind that CF's upscale reputation is kinda illusory, it really isn't that high-end when you really think about it.

And another one, for a beauty consultant at Nordstrom

https://www.linkedin.com/jobs2/view/...b_details_text

Now granted, either of these could be mistakenly posted here instead of Columbia, MD, which seems to happen a lot.

If you click on "Apply on Company Website" this is for the job- Retail Sales - Beauty Advisor Lancome- The Mall in Columbia-181643, in Maryland.

The job on Linkedin is not actually posted by Norstrom, but by a 3rd party(in this case tweetmyjobs) which is why you will see all kinds of errors and fake postings. Best to always click through to the actual company's website.

Oh, I figured as much. But the best kind of speculation is the reckless kind, I always say.
