Sorry to leave you hanging AFG, I should have replied sooner.
We have used someone in the past. Unfortunately we made the mistake of hiring a friend of a friend who was a little too old to handle any deep cleaning. She did a great job from her shoulders to her knees but bending and stretching were not in her repertoire. When we finally let her go it cost some hurt feelings with the friend. Finding a replacement has not been easy, a good house keeper is like a good baby sitter, people won't tell you about them because they are scared you might hire them away.
For what it's worth we paid her $60 for a fairly large house and she came every other week. We supplied everything except the sweat.
And we are looking again. If you find anybody let me know.
I have someone coming by to prep a rental house before tenants move in. They'll do thorough cleaning, including wiping out cabinets and appliances, floor to ceiling for $119. I'm sure if they are getting a regular check and not doing that much it would be considerably less.
