I recently posted a question within a thread about lake access for Lexington residents, but thought I would re-post as a new thread in hope of getting more information. For those who live in subdivisions that do not directly border the lake or have private lake access, are you still able to enjoy the lake? Are there public swim areas, parks, boat launches or sandy beaches on the lake in Lexington? Or is it mostly inaccessible private property? I see there is a Marina nearby, so that would be great for launching/storing a boat, but what about lake access beyond that?

There are public access beaches, most of which you have to pay a small parking fee. There's a marina on 378, a marina on Little River out from Batesburg, and boat ramps at the dam.

There is a great little beach (just pay a small fee for parking or you can buy a seasonal pass) that is probably what you're looking for.
