depending on your pet needs, there are mobile clinics that pop up all over the area, you'll see signs out and a van will be there doing shots, etc quite inexpensive if that helps initial concerns.
As for actual vets, we've been using the Dutch Fork Animal clinic in the Ballentine area for the past 3 years and have been very pleased, though that may not be the most convenient to your spot
Dr. Blaes owns (and works out of) the Banfield in the Bower Parkway Petsmart as well as the one over on Two Notch in the NE. He's simply the best vet I've ever worked with - but that makes him tricky to see.
