I am from Phila originally and been down here 15 years. I prefer Lexington to Richland County. It is cheaper and has better schools and a better combination of towns and rural areas.

I just met a couple in Lake Carolina in the Bluffs that are from NJ and they said their children are moving here too soon. Could it have been your mom I was talking to? I am also from NJ and relocated to Columbia.

Teachermom2, my parents live in NE columbia but not in Lake Carolina. I drove by the Bluffs and it looks like a beautiful area. What part of Jersey are you from?

I justed visited the YMCA today and it was beautiful. The tennis instructor was also from NJ, that was a nice welcome!

I just met someone from philly and she works in the Sandhills. It seems like there are a lot of people here from PA. Still haven't met anyone from NJ, but in time I'm sure I will. I did see other cars on highway 20 with NY plates. I guess all that talk about NE being here is true.

I am from the South Jersey shore area/Long Beach Island.
