Garages are not a necessity here since the winters are not that bad. I will have to think about any apartment complexes with a garage. You could rent a single family home or a townhouse with a garage, but then you're going to have a harder time finding something within your budget. I'd check the Wolfe Company and Furman Fulmer Company online - they both have a lot of rentals in town.

Waccamat: a garage is most definitely a priority for me, as I have a small collection of custom motorcycles, as well as tools, parts and such. Frankly, I could be happy in a big room with a bathroom and door, just so long as I knew my bikes were 100% secure. I will check out those rental companies you suggested. I'm also seeing a lot of houses for rent/lease that I think I could live with. Being in the Tucson area for 6-12 months is the only way I will know if it's the place for me to stay. Then I will decide if I want to buy a home, and the year of renting will also give me info on what areas I'd prefer, or prefer to avoid. Either way, I just need to get there and see for myself. Thanks again!!
