A bit pricey yes, but the view is worth it. Stroll around the Publix in Lexington at any time of the day and you are in MILF central.

Lol... you seem a bit desperate always mentioning that. We get it, you like the hot moms and sorority girls.

I believe you have confused me with fellow Lexington resident Accufitgolf. But no matter. Was there some reason you had to take an off the cuff remark and use it to insult someone?

Sorry my bad. You're right, I was insulting. Just feel your comments could be insulting to a group of people as well and they don't have relevance to the post about Publix grocery stores. But mine doesn't either so you win.

I'm not too crazy about the placement of the halfway house... Kind of hope it gets relocated and why couldn't it?

A block and a half away from the Bull Street campus? Yeah, awesome idea.

How do white-collar criminals act when they live in a halfway house? It seems like one of those deals where if no one said anything no one would know. I wonder how it went over when the state announced it was locating the insane asylum on 180 acres on the northeastern corner of Columbia's original grid. Talk about irony. As far as I'm concerned the halfway house would mean 40-something more downtown residents. Where are all the Christians?

Even if all of them were white-collar, non-violent ex-felons (and I have my doubts about that), the fact of the matter is that perception trumps reality. With everything going on right now in Columbia towards that end--Mast General and the homeless issue, upheavals in the police department, more incidents of crime in Five Points--why in the world would anyone who wants to see downtown succeed want to see this go through? It wouldn't help at all and would do more harm than good on that front, IMO.
