I think it's a good idea and for the better. I'm no traffic engineer, but when you have an exit, in between two major interchanges (I-26/I-20 and I-26/I-126), probably one of the best things to do is, remove that interchange if you can. That entire area is so tight and cramped the way it is.

Goodness Fox is behind by a year, that was the plan in all of the proposed malfunction junction fixes except in I think one. I think this would be good as all it would do is provide and full interchange at Colonial Life Boulevard, which is underused, and the I-20 exit is still there. Just can't wait to see which design they go with, hopefully it'll be the turbine interchange over the partial clover and flyover interchange. Also can't wait to have eight lanes all the way to Chapin on a smooth road.

The Wingate in Haribson is being converted to an Aloft Hotel, to open May 12th. It clearly looks like an Aloft at this point.

Wait, really? How has this not been bigger news? So Columbia will have two Alofts?

According to Aloft's website, it opened the 12th of this month: https://aloft-hotels.starwoodhotels.com/locations/

So it looks like metro Charleston has three Aloft's, Columbia has two, Greenville has one, and one is coming to Florence. Surprised one isn't planned for Myrtle yet.

Thatís awesome. Harbison is going to have some decent choices for hotels, especially with the 2 that are more than halfway done now. Both are on Columbiana drive, I believe.

Definitely donít disagree, but I drive through the heart of Lexington every day and their traffic has Harbison beat.
