So, my Dad passed along some hush-hush information to me the other day and I thought I'd should share a little bit of information in its simplest form... It's nothing juicy, but news for the CBD nonetheless.

Apparently, his company is moving from across the river and will be moving into one of the "taller" buildings in the CBD- two floors worth of space to be absorbed by this relocation. He told me his company is all over the place about when to announce it and execute the move, but it will definitely happen before the end of the year.

I was in the Sheraton the other night on the 16th floor and noticed they were renovating the rooms. The floor is closed off, but I was trying to get to the bar on the roof.

Does anyone have any clue what is going on up there. I looked around since the rooms were open, as was the old club room. It looks like apartments, but I am not sure.

Anyone know what is going on?

Does anyone know why Emporis is missing like all the buildings in Columbia when it comes to height. Do they need someone to confirm, or what?

Does only one of the elevators go all the way to the roof?

Maybe a Penthouse suite? I dont believe Columbia has many luxury accomodations.. With the things happening on Main Street/Vista.. seems ripe for one for when the international jet setters come to town.. or developers lobbying the Mayor....
