This is great! Good location, catchy name. Can't wait to hear more details.

We ate on Main Street tonight and last night and didn't have any problems. Last night we parked on Assembly at Washington and tonight we parked on Washington at Main. There were lots of people down there both times. If people don't expect to park and walk into their destination within a few feet, they have no reason to complain. And if people do expect to park and walk into their destination within a few feet, they have no reason to complain. It's a city. Having to find a parking space is a good problem for a city's downtown to have after 5 p.m.

I think if you can park within a few blocks of your destination, you're lucky. It isn't realistic for everyone to be able to park in front of their destination.

That is correct; I don't know why people call it number 1 Main Street.
