Last year I think I weedeated my AC condenser to hell. Looking for reco's for good ac guy that will do repairs, ie. hole repair and charge, if applicable, rather than recommending replacing whole ac system, which I rather not do. I do not see myself living in home much longer, just want to get through upcoming summer. In NE Cola, thanks.

See if you can get several quotes. Many will have a service charge just to come look and quoute. Phone around to several of the larger vendors.

I used ARS Rescue and the fellow was very curteous and professional.

I use ARS now. I tried using a "mom and pops" place but they came out and said I need a new compressor, $2k please. ARS came out and relieved some R12 (the new freon) out of my lines so the compressor isn't over heating now (apparently the pressure was building in the lines causing it overwork itself). $100... saved $1900! Been fine for 6 months now.

i use Metro Heating & Air. been using them for over 20 years. i would not recommend Air Waves, i have a friend who had a gas furnace put in in 2001, Air Waves did not vent the exhaust to the outside, thus creating a CO hazard.
