Went to Jason's Deli in the Vista today. That place was packed out. It had a real good vibe and parking was easy. It is the nicest looking on on the interior that I have seen. I'd rank it the best one in the State.

I think it is in the same space the California chicken place was in that went out of business. Needless to say lot more people in Jason's today then like 3 months total at that place.

The California chicken place was down the street in the Vista Lofts building. Jason's will have an even nicer vibe when its next door neighbor is the Hyatt Place Hotel and they share an alley, and when the renovations on the Dupree Building on the other side of the hotel are complete. Jason's interior is appealing for sure. And I love the views of people walking up and down Gervais with the brickwork of the buildings across the street as a backdrop. Mojito's is another good restaurant for watching the street vibe.

I was visiting in March and had lunch there. We really enjoyed it. Sitting in there made my husband think that he could live in America.
