Cobblestone Creek has a fantastic golf course and upscale community surrounding it. However, there are a plethora of vacant lots for sale. It looks like DR Horton has started building there now. If I was living in Cobblestone Creek I would not be thrilled with that. Better off with the vacant lots. Also, original homes that were built there made had that unique architecture like the "Charleston Style" homes. They would have been better off building 1.5 story traditional brick homes would have been more appealing to buyers
The Lake Frances / Rolling Hills is another picturesque neighborhood by the lake and the Golf course. But they had to build those DR Horton houses this really brings the community down a notch. I would buy only the on the another side of the lake at Indian River now.

The upscale community/homes around Cobblestone (The University Club) fell dead on their butt. Lots that sold for $150K can be had for $25K. An unfinished clubhouse. A pro shop operating out of a shack.

DR Horton is probably one of the best things that has happened out there. At least there is some activity. A clubhouse being built. People buying homes, etc. Want some history? Look up Bobby Ginn.
