Hi Im looking to move in april 2014 and I was looking at some apts and single homes in the Rosewood area that are within my budget . I was just wondering if the Rosewood area is a good , safe area ? and can someone tell me any other safe areas within my budget ? Im looking to pay anywhere from 550-650 a month 1 bd is fine and also is a 2 bdr, 1 ba , 2ba ...Just tell me some good area also any apts that are within that budget and safe . Thanks . My husband will be working in the Lake Murray area and Im afraid that area is a little out of our budget for now and we want to rent first before we buy to make sure we like the area . Thanks to all who can help .

Lake Murray is quite a hike from Rosewood. Have you looked into rentals closer to his job?

Like I said Lake Murray rental places are a little out of our budget so we have to find something ...I just saw the rentals in rosewood and was wondering if that was a safe place .

Yes, area behind Rosewood Elementary is fine. However, apartments in the Lake Murray Area/Suburbs will be cheaper. Obviously there's a lot more to do in town so Rosewood might be a good fit for you.

I have lived here since 91 and find it to be pretty quite and safe. The people here are friendly and everything is pretty close proximity to everything. Everyone seems to let people be themselves unlike gated communities. Hope this helps.
