I am considering moving to Columbia from Ohio and I wanted to know how the area is around Dent Middle School? Is this a dangerous area with potential gang violence? Also how is the neighborhood where the Greenbrier Apartments are located off Parklane Ave? Also is Dent Middle School a good school? I really like Columbia but I wanted to see how this part I am describing is.

We live within a couple miles of Dent, my son went there (in the Navy now) and to RNE. This is a low crime area and a great place to live. Now that we are alone we are ready to move.
