Actually Palmetto Trees are Palms, they are the Sabal Palmetto Palm.

There are some really beautiful buildings in Columbia. I love getting the opportunity to learn about the city through the eyes of people who know it best.

South of the city at Congaree National Park they grow naturally there, not very big but theyr'e there.

Great pics!! I am looking at either Florida or South Carolina for a relocation down the road and job wise Columbia would be an easy place for me to transfer to while Florida would be harder. Anywhere would be better than the arctic tundra of Maine.
