Unfortunately it appears to resemble a Dollar General.... not for sure though.

Is it a freestanding structure with tan or brown metal exterior walls and a black facade and brick on the storefront?

It is a tan and brick structure that actually goes down the side. It has the typical automatic door entrance in the middle. I imagine that this is a fancy DG as it is in town limits and must adhere to their ordinances.

Dollar General started using automatic doors approximately seven years ago to my knowledge. It is most likely a Dollar General adhering to strict aesthetic design standards.
