Also, saying things like Augusta is growing faster than Columbia or Greenville which is definitely not true doesn't help the situation.

G-Man,that sounds fair enought to me though I still have my own thoughts about that situation in Greenville. But remember,if you want to express your nagative views about Augusta Georgia, the place I was born and raised in,be prepared for me to express mine.In other words, practice what you preach.By the way,I did't make that statement,so get your P's/Q's straight. You definitely seem to have some personal issues with Augusta, but I do not appreciate you "bad mouthing"my home town and chooseing this forum to do so.Whatever and whoever your issues are with the people in this town,I think you need to deal with it directly instead of trying to discourage people from making a move to this city.Anymore negative comments about my town and believe me,I will have the last word.Have a good night.

No one is saying that Augusta is the boondocks, just simply that its not on the level of the formentioned cities. That is the truth! I didn't make that up. Yes you have the Masters, I will give you that and I feel its a nice event although I've never been. But what happens when the Masters is gone? The interest is still higher in the formentioned cities and they are indeed growing faster and have more amenities. A great deal more! Sorry if you got upset. Greenville doesn't have to wait for events, every day in Greenville is an event all into itself as it flourishes with activity. It has better shopping, nightlife, etc.

Well, thinks for reminding me that Greenville doesn't have to wait for events to come to town and I will certainly agree that "greenville is an event all into itself"I mean 30 something pages, have been spent talking about the teenagers hanging out on Main Street and how shocking and horrified everybody is by their mere presence, yet nothing major has even happened to justify having such a discussion. It certainly looks bad for people in other cities and towns to be viewing such foolishness and people acting paranoid.Yes indeed"Greenville is an event all into itself"See,we don't have that kind of foolishness down here and yet teens hang out downtown and everywhere else.My point being, there are pluses/minuses about every city and town yet people on this forum like yourself want to take a cheap shot at "little ole Augusta"Well,I might be the only voice on this forum to speak up and out aganist these comments, but you can believe,I will have my say,G-man says,"stop the city bashing,it's getting out of hand"So let's all stop it then.

This thread needs to get back on track and the attacks on other posters needs to stop. The thread is not about Augusta. If someone wants to post about Augusta, there is another thread talking about Columbia and Augusta. To paraphrase Rodney king, "Can we all please just get along"?
