New to the Irmo area. Any gas stations have free air? Many thanks!

If you go to any tire shop or mechanic, they will usually let you fill up with air for free. Just a service they provide to customers. Gas stations don't do it anymore.

If you go to an auto parts store you can pick up a small compressor and keep it in the car.

That's right , when stations started charging for air, i stopped and bought my own air machine, mine being a Harborfreight compressor / hose for way less than $100 and now I'm an airgauge pressure checking nut about it.

Most tire shops will be glad to check and add air if necessary even if you have never done business with them. They want your future business. Otherwise spend the $1.50 and do it yourself at a gas station.
