Default columbia road system

Is there another way to get from i-26 to i-77 . say from around Irmo - ballentine instead of having to doubleback and go all the way to Columbia . I guess like a bypass ? man it was a long way .

I take it you mean besides i-20. (which is sort of a bypass). Nothing convenient I can think of.

The only other way would be to head north and then take SC Rt. 34 east to 77. You're better off taking 26 to 20 to 77, though, imo.

26 to 20 to 77. You could go down Broad River Rd to 20 but that usually takes longer than the 26 to 20 route.
