Developer to bring upscale coffee house to Cottontown - wistv.com - Columbia, South Carolina there's a lot of development I haven't heard it's yet coming to North Main. It kinda reminds me of this little industrial turned entertainment district i visited in Charlotte. I can't wait.

This is so great. I've live in NoMa for about two years now and I'm so in love.

While much of the development downtown is either guided or coerced (by the city), NoMa is developing organically. No doubt the streetscaping has helped, but established entrepreneurs seem to be flocking there in spite of all of the focus on the Vista, Main, and Bull Street. It's refreshing.

I like that so much better since South Main is not technically a correct term and North Main sounds far flung.
