My husband is looking for a full time job. I realize this is not the best time of year, but we just moved here recently and there do not seem to be a lot of options for him. His background is industrial/warehouse type work, but we are having trouble finding this. He is open and willing to try different things. I normally do medical transcription from home, but am not having much luck with that either. We are also having a baby in February, so that makes this more stressful. Any advice or suggestions at all is appreciated!!!

Don't know how close you are, but if willing to travel up i26 towards/to the Greenville/Spartanburg area may be able to find something. Lot of companies continuing to move into the area or expand. Also check out the SC Works website and visit the various job websites as employers only seem to list on one or two job sites.

Also one of the tricks that can help is visit google maps, satellite view, and search for warehouses and google them/use street view to find their name if not labeled, find their website and see if they're hiring. Ya that takes a lot of time but hey it's another avenue to look.

Amazon is always hiring here in the Midlands. There are numerous warehouses and logistical facilities in the Midlands, too. Nephron Pharmaceuticals, UPS, FedEx, Michelin, too.
