Can anyone give me some info about the Pace Apartments in Columbia. My husband and I are moving to the area in 2 months and my mother and stepfathter are planning to move down with us and rent an apartment. She has been looking online and found these apartments. She is weary of the location, they are 70 and semiretired. We will live in Lexington so if anyone has any ideas of a good place to rent, please let me know. They are looking for 2 bedroom that accepts dogs with washer/dryer hookup. No more than $700/month.
Thanks

From what I know, all of the "Paces" apartments (Paces Run, Paces Brook, etc.) are well kept. You would have to contact the complex about the pets and the washer/dryer connections. That complex is in the Harbison community, which is a planned community. There are many different sections of that community, including some for senior citizens.

I have a friend who stays in Paces Run on Parklane Road. It seems pretty well kept

I think you'd like Paces Brook better.

I lived in Granby Oaks twice. Nice quiet complex with generally, an older more mature crowd. It is very convenient to downtown and the management is top flight. About the only thing negative I could say is that the kitchen in the one bedroom apartments is kinda small.

I looked at River Bend, but it was pretty much a dive. Mostly college kids and section 8 housing.

No experience with the others.

OK, one more complex that I am looking at and that is Columbiana Ridge. Does anyone know anything about them?

Thanks,
JB
